12 Years of the Michigan Autism Conference
Dear Michigan Autism Conference (MAC) Community,
We hope 2025 is off to a healthy and happy start. As many of you know, we celebrated our 12th conference this past October. The journey leading up to last year’s conference was one of immense learning, transition, and growth. As we looked to the future, and after much discussion and with mixed emotions, we made the difficult decision to discontinue the MAC. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for being a part of this remarkable journey with us. There are so many successes to celebrate from the past twelve years and many outcomes to relish, that would not be possible without the support of our incredible community. We hope in our time together, you had the opportunity to learn a new skill, cultivate a connection with someone, or perhaps even pave a new career direction. These intangible outcomes, along with many others, will endure well beyond the MAC.
We also want to take this opportunity to thank our dedicated team members over the years, the talented presenters, committed sponsors and exhibitors, as well as each attendee for being a part of this story. Your unwavering support and commitment to the mission of the MAC are an enormous part of what have made it so successful. We are incredibly honored and humbled by everything we created together with you, and hope our shared values of passion, learning, and the dedication to fostering community in all settings continue to flourish.
With much gratitude,
Jessica Van Stratton and Kimberly Peck
